Earlier this week, while flying over the 455-foot Great Pyramid, Alex Lang witnessed movement on its summit and captured the action on camera.

For around 4,000 years, the dog had climbed what was once the tallest building ever constructed by humans, apparently to have a better chance of barking at birds.

It should come as no surprise that the stunning video has gone popular on social media. Viewers of Lang’s popular video were shocked to see that it was a dog running loose as he zipped into the little, level area at the top of the structure from his seat in the paraglider.

Lang claimed that the dog had been barking at the birds soaring overhead when he noticed the animal, following the astounding discovery atop the historic site.

The amazing video finished with the dog remaining on the monument, so it’s unknown if the pyramid-scaling dog was eventually saved from his ordeal.
