The happy news for today is from San Sebastián, Spain.At the Osakidetza Donostia University Hospital in Spain, Johnny Depp made an unexpected appearance while dressed as his favorite character Captain Jack Sparrow.
While attending the San Sebastian Film Festival in the nation, Depp took a break from his hectic schedule to visit the cancer and pediatric departments, cheering up the young patients and their families.
Both the hospital personnel and the patients were excited to meet the well-known pirate, and Depp did not dissapoint. He remained true to his persona, telling jokes and anecdotes and encouraging the kids to temporarily forget about their problems.
According to the hospital, Depp’s attendance was a gift not only to the kids but also to the staff and families who watched the event.
“They shared laughs and anecdotes, helping the children forget their current difficulties for a few minutes,” said the hospital. The nurses called Depp’s visit “a breath of fresh air” for everyone on the ward and expressed their gratitude for his time and effort.
