Avoid Interfering with the Elderly!

On this lovely, sunny day, an elderly woman decided to visit her bank. “I would like to withdraw $500,” the woman remarked as she entered, approached the counter, and gave her bank card to the teller.

“Please use the ATM for withdrawals under $2,000,” the teller instructed her.

The elderly woman was curious as to why.

“These are the rules,” the irate teller informed her after returning her bank card. If there is nothing further to discuss, kindly depart. Behind you, there is a queue.

The elderly woman said, “Please help me withdraw all the money I have,” after remaining silent for a short while before returning her card to the teller.

When the teller looked at the account amount, she was shocked. “My apologies, ma’am. You have $35 million in your account, and our bank doesn’t have so much cash right now,” she said politely as she knelt down and bowed her head. Would you be able to schedule a time to return tomorrow?

The elderly woman then inquired as to how much she may take out right away.

She may have any sum up to $250,000, the teller informed her. “All right, give me $250,000 right now,” she said. The teller completed it in a flash and then gave it to her senior client in a courteous and kind manner.

The elderly woman urged the teller to return the remaining $249,500 to her account after placing the $500 in her bag.
